Chris is an expert commercial real estate title examiner with over 22 years of experience. He has extensive knowledge of the history of Georgia and the variety of transactions that can occur within it. Additionally, his experience performing other roles within the industry, such as senior title reviewer for a large commercial title agency, has given him a deeper understanding of title insurance and the fundamental processes behind every deal.
Chris has a passion for teaching and is actively working to train the next generation of commercial real estate title examiners. He is a builder of systems and processes and enjoys passing his knowledge on to others. He is also an active mentor in the ALTA Mentorship program, as well as a regular member of the Southeast Land Title Association (SLTA).
Coming from a family of legal professionals, Chris was exposed to the real estate records at a young age. His initial interest came from his mother – a title examiner and former Chief Deputy Clerk of Record Room Operations in the Fulton County Superior Court Clerk’s office. A passion for real estate ultimately came to be shared by his wife, and they continue to challenge each other to maintain their expertise to this day.
During his free time, Chris enjoys reading, computers, martial arts, and rigorous exercise. He is also an avid participant in immersive theatre groups throughout the southeast.
